Small business overlooked by banks

Small businesses are being overlooked by big business and banks, despite promises about more funding being made available. While the FSB has welcomed the £4 billion of funding made available by the European Investment Bank, it is concerned that the funds will not be accessible to small businesses. Andrew Cave, the FSB's Head of Policy, said: "With millions of small businesses strapped for cash and seeing an increase in costs and a decrease in trade, it is vitally important that small businesses are not overlooked in these testing times."
